- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg white
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sour cream
- granulated sugar
2. Cut in butter into flour, egg yolk, and sour cream. Form a ball and chill in refrigerator overnight. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. Roll out pastry dough into a thin sheet. Cut out cookie shapes. Using a pastry feather or small basting brush, brush the cookies with egg white and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake for 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
