- 4 cucumbers, very thinly sliced
- 2 small onion, very thinly sliced
- ¼ cup vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 cup sour cream
- salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
Peel and thinly slice the cucumber. Place it in a colander, sprinkle with salt and leave for 30 minutes for the juices to drain. Rinse and drain thoroughly. Mix cucumbers and onions together. Mix in remaining ingredients, chill till very cold, and serve.
