  • ½ cup cooking oil
  • ¾ cup onion, chopped
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • ¾ cup water
  • cup lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt

directions

1. Cook onion in oil until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes.
